Lalu Prasad launches son Tejaswi in politics
September 23rd, 2010 - 10:07 pm ICT by IANSPatna, Sep 23 (IANS) Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) chief Lalu Prasad’s cricketer son Tejaswi Yadav will campaign for the party during the Bihar assembly elections in October-November.
Lalu Prasad Thursday introduced his son Tejaswi at a press conference here and formalised his entry into politics by announcing that he would campaign for the RJD-Lok Janshakti Party (LJP) combine in the assembly polls.
“My son Tejaswi will campaign during the assembly polls,” Lalu Prasad announced, with a big smile.
The RJD chief said his son was learning politics and will get more exposure and training during the assembly polls.
Tejaswi is pursuing a career in cricket and has secured a berth in the IPL team Delhi Daredevils.
