Karunanidhi in hospital for check-up
November 22nd, 2011 - 12:21 am ICT by IANSChennai, Nov 21 (IANS) DMK president and former Tamil Nadu chief minister M.Karunanidhi was Monday taken to the Apollo Hospital here for a check-up and observation, party and hospital sources said.
“He (Karunanidhi) came here at around 9.30 p.m. with complaints of some uneasiness and doctors are attending to him. He has not been admitted,” hospital sources told IANS.
Party sources denied there was anything serious with the 87-year-old leader.
“There is nothing serious. Perhaps he will be under observation for an hour or so and return,” a party official said.
