karlrovexWashington, Mar 11, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Karl Rove gave his opinion on the Tea Party movement in an interview given to a major media outlet recently and he said that he is dubious regarding its effect on the Republicans. He also came on heavy on Scott McClellan, former White House Press Secretary. Karl Rove used to be a potent force behind the functioning of the Bush administration. He told Wolf Blitzer of CNN that while the Tea Party movement is diverse and wide, it may affect the GOP adversely. He seemed to be a tad reserved in answering the criticism from Scott McClellan. The latter lambasted him on another network on Tuesday.

Scott McClellan criticized Karl Rove earlier and said that he has a mentality like Japanese soldiers who still want to cling on to the Second World War age feelings. He also accused Karl Rove of resorting to manipulative skills to achieve his personal goals. Karl Rove showed a cold approach when he responded to this allegation and said that Scott McClellan sounded strange when he made the comparison.

Karl Rove was also asked about how he is maintaining terms with former US President George Bush. He said in reply that he keeps in touch with the former president quite often. He also said about the former US president that he is in process of writing a book and that it would be published this year. Karl Rove is also writing a book himself. It will focus on his own political career. He was considered as an important part of US politics during his heydays.
