Karl Rove divorces his wife Darby

New York City, Jan 2 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Adviser to George W. Bush, Karl Rove has been granted a divorce from his wife Darby. They have been married for 24 years. Dana Perino, speaking for the family, said the divorce was granted last week in Texas, Politico reported Tuesday.
“The couple came to the decision mutually and amicably, and they maintain a close relationship and a strong friendship,” Perino said. “There will be no further comment, and the family requests that its privacy be respected.” However since it was the festive season so the whole family spent the Christmas together. Karl Roves, Darby and their son were together for Christmas and plan to be again soon, in the future too. According to their spokesman Darby and Karl remain close friends despite the divorce.
Karl Rove was a key adviser in the administration of President George W. Bush for 8 years, and he is currently a Fox News commentator. He is said to be a brilliant political consultant.
Karl Rove was said to be the political mastermind who helped George W. Bush ride to victory in 2004. This victory was somewhat based on the idea that so many social conservatives came out in support of an anti-gay marriage ballot measure, to help protect the sanctity of marriage in the state of Ohio.
