Jan 2, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Karl Rove, known for his stint as the senior advisor in the George W. Bush administration, has succeeded in getting a divorce from Darby Rove, his spouse. The marital life of the couple was not a happy one by any means. To the contrary, their marital life was quite stressful, particularly during the years of Bush government. After putting up for two decades, the couple reached a conclusion to separate. However, they were seen spending the Christmas with their son and also have plans to meet in future. Though legally separated, they are not on bitter terms like some waring couples and feel that friendship is required for happiness in life after divorce. Karl Rove is fortunate enough to get the support and compassion of his friends and ex-colleagues, who have stood by him through the hard times.

Dana Perino, his ex colleague also agreed that the divorce was not bitter for the couple. Karl Rove tied the knot for the first time with Valerie Mather Wainwright but his first marriage did not last for more than 4 years. He works as a consultant and political columnist now. He has a son with his wife. His son, Andrew Madison Rove, is studying in Texas’s Trinity University.

Karl Rove was instrumental in the victory of Bush and he took an active role in dealing with controversial Christian issues, including same sex marriage and abortion. Both Carl Rove and his ex wife does not want to go public about their divorce and expect media to respect the privacy, as their spokespersons have revealed.
