Kaiser new Congress chief in Bihar
June 2nd, 2010 - 4:30 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, June 2 (IANS) Effecting top-level changes in its faction-ridden Bihar unit before assembly polls this year, the Congress Wednesday named Mehboob Ali Kaiser as the new state party chief.
Kaiser, secretary of the All India Congress Committee, has been appointed president of the Bihar Pradesh Congress Committee in place of Anil Kumar Sharma, Congress general secretary Janardan Dwivedi said in a statement.
He said that central minister Mukul Wasnik, also a party general secretary, would be in charge of Bihar in place of Jagdish Tytler, who has been given charge of the Congress Seva Dal.
