us-politics-wh_1105428cl-3Jan 5, (THAINDIAN NEWS) The mystery surrounding the unexpected death of former Pentagon official and aide of former US president George W Bush, John P Wheeler III is deepening with time. The Delaware police have found some clues including a few witnesses who saw him before his dead body was found in a landfill, but they are yet to reach a conclusion about the motive of the murder. A witness said that the Vietnam Veteran was seen less than 24 years before his dead body was discovered. He was 66 years old. During his career he was closely involved with both Reagan administration and Bush administration and no one could have imagined such a prominent political personality would meet an end like this. During his tenure at the pentagon he was involved in matters dealing with Cyber, chemical and nuclear issues.

The cops are trying to find out his activities between Dec 28 and the New Years eve. At first it was not clear whether he took the Amtrak train from Washington. However, the detectives later found out that he was seen near a hotel on Dec 30th. So far no arrests have been made by the cops and they have not said if they suspect anyone on this matter. The death of John Wheeler has also baffled the media and journalists who saw him during his heyday. The cops are being assisted by the FBI on this case.

His wife Katherine Klyce who owns a textile company has not been available for comment. The FBI on its part said that it is offering “technical assistance” to cops on this case.
