Washington, Oct 5 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The blame game in US politics has surfaced again. The proposed Jobs Bill has once again exposed the deep division between Congress and the White House. President Barack Obama has been blaming the Republicans for the problems that the bill is facing at the Congress.

On Tuesday, the Senate Democrats sought ways to rewrite portions of the bill that the president presented to the House. A source at Congress told CBS News that the Democrats at the House are proposing changes to the bill. They plan to raise the $447 billion needed to implement the bill by increasing taxes on the rich.

President Obama is in Texas and he attacked the Republicans for the delay in the passage of the bill. During a speech at Mesquite, the president singled out the House Majority Leader Eric Cantor for the difficulty in getting the bill passed.

The president said that, “What’s the problem? Do they not have the time? They just had a week off. Is it inconvenient?”

Cantor is adamant and says the president should be flexible with the plan. He criticized the all or nothing approach of the White House. The White House says they are ready to consider suggestions to the bill.
