Washington, Dec 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) US Congressman Jim Sensenbrenner has been forced to apologize after saying that First Lady Michelle Obama has bigger than normal bum size. The lawmaker made the comment during what appears to be a private conversation at the Reagan National Airport.

Speaking on a mobile phone, Sensenbrenner suggested that the First Lady’s campaign against childhood obesity was hypocritical because she is not a good example of what she is championing. The conversation was overheard and since the report came out, Sensenbrenner has been criticized from several angles.

A spokesperson of Sensenbrenner has hinted that he will be personally apologizing to Michelle for the comment. The spokesperson explained that the comment was not against the First Lady as a person but her office adding that she should not be allowed to tell Americans how they should eat.

The spokesperson said that, “Mr Sensenbrenner was referring to the First Lady’s healthy food initiative. He doesn’t think the government should be telling Americans what to eat. While he may not agree with all of her initiatives, he plans to contact the First Lady’s office to apologise for his comments.”

Michelle’s initiative “Let’s move” is aimed at getting kids in the United States adopt healthy lifestyle.
