Disgraced South Carolina Governor Mark Sanford faced a lot of flak by the media as well his supporters when he had revealed his illegitimate affair with an Argentine woman by the name of Maria Belen Chapur, almost two months ago.

Since then he had even faced a consensus from his party-men, who thought better of seeking his resignation.

However, recent developments seems to suggest that the governor has committed some public offense when he used the public money to book business class tickets to go visit his lady love. A conduct for which he might face possible impeachment for violation of rules.

Speaking about the whole sordid “affair” in a recent interview, the governor’s wife Jenny Sanford said that she feels exceedingly sorry for her husband, in spite of the two timing and revealed that she prays for the other woman in the story, Maria Belen Chapur.

According to a new extract from the Vogue magazine, Mrs. Sanford had even Googled to see what Chapur looked like and her simple verdict is that, “She’s pretty.” She is not the only one though to have sought the pictures of the woman in question. Two months ago, when the governor’s secret affair had burst in to the limelight, for days, Maria Belen Chapur had ruled the roost in almost all major search engines, with everyone eager to see the her.

Ms. Sanford said, “I am sure she is a fine person. It can’t be fun for her, though I do sometimes questions her judgment.. All I can do is pray for her because she made some poor choices.”
