Iowa Governor reappoints three directors
March 5th, 2010 - 4:01 am ICT by BNO NewsDES MOINES, IOWA (BNO NEWS) – On Thursday, Iowa Governor Chet Culver submitted to the Iowa Senate three reappointments of State department directors, the Office of the Governor said.
Nancy Richardson has been reappointed as the Director of the Department of Transportation. She started in this post in 2005.
Mark Schulling, the Director of Revenue since 2005, was also one of the reappointments of Gov. Culver. He is also a board member of the Federation of Tax Administrators.
The executive director of the Iowa Department of Veteran Affairs, Patrick Palmersheim was the third member selected to reappointment by Governor Culver.
The Iowa Senate has to confirm the submission no later than April 15.
