I have my roots in Lucknow: Sanjay Dutt
March 15th, 2009 - 7:53 pm ICT by IANSLucknow, March 15 (IANS) Countering the charge of being an outsider in Lucknow, Bollywood star and Samajwadi Party candidate Sanjay Dutt Sunday said he has his roots in this city.
Dutt was upset when mediapersons told him that Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidate Lalji Tandon had called him an outsider.
“I respect him as he is a senior politician and would like to tell you all that I have my roots here. My father (late actor-turned-minister Sunil Dutt) used to get emotional whenever he remembered the good old days he had spent here,” Dutt replied.
