Washington, March 22, (THAINDIAN NEWS) While the president of United States Barack Obama congratulated House Speaker Nancy Pelosi for the ultimate Heath care bill pass the lady had to face tough time inside and outside the House. She had to tackle not only the Democrats but also the Republican protesters who had been demonstrating against the bill outside the house. On Sunday night, the Republican National Committee Chairman Michael Steele allegedly said that the House Speaker should be removed now and the President should do something for the people of America.

On Sunday, Nancy Pelosi led the final meeting of the Democrat representatives before the ultimate vote. Nancy Pelosi has reportedly proclaimed that the Democrats were voting for the historic Health care reform Bill on Sunday. However, as she came out with the members to enter the Capitol, protesters outside screamed the name of Nancy Pelosi along with yelling out the slogan “Kill the Bill”. Protesters also mocked the House speaker by placard messages reading “Let’s meet em at the state line”. As Nancy Pelosi entered the Capitol, protesters shifted their protest to the south of the Capitol lawn so that they could be just outside the House chamber. The protester’s banner read “Red Queen Nancy - Joseph Stalin was not a saint”.

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, after entering the House has to face the Republican members who continued to protest the health care bill. They remained skeptical of the reform and the promises. However, the Democrats voted for the Bill and with the 219 votes going in favor of the Health Care Bill, the President had only congratulation for Nancy Pelosi.
