New Delhi, July 22 (IANS) Expressing his happiness at the government winning the trust vote, Congress general secretary Rahul Gandhi Tuesday said he, however, was “disgusted” with the charges of horse-trading. “Prime Minister Manmohan Singh took a good decision to go ahead with the India-US nuclear deal. But I was disgusted with the disruptions and allegations and counter-allegations over horse-trading that occurred during the course of the session,” he said.
Asked to comment on the number of votes the United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government got, the Amethi MP said: “I was never worried about the figure.”
There were 275 votes in favour of the government while 256 MPs voted against it in the trust vote.
