Hooda wins by over 72,000 votes
October 22nd, 2009 - 4:02 pm ICT by IANSChandigarh, Oct 22 (IANS) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda Thursday won his Garhi Sampla-Kiloi assembly seat in Rohtak district by 72,100 votes.
This was the biggest victory margin of any candidate in the state’s 90 assembly seats.
Hooda defeated Satish Kumar of the Indian National Lok Dal (INLD).
In June 2005, Hooda had won by a margin of over 103,000 votes — getting 96 percent of the votes polled.
