Himachal minister’s resignation sent to governor

Shimla, May 11 (IANS) The resignation of Himachal Pradesh Forest Minister J.P. Nadda, appointed national general secretary of the Bharatiya Janata Party, has been forwarded to Governor Urmila Singh, Chief Minister Prem Kumar Dhumal said Tuesday.
Nadda resigned as cabinet minister March 18 to take up his new party assignment. But Dhumal told him to continue for some time.
