hillary-rodhan-clinton Washington, May 3 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton spoke against Arizona’s immigration law. She said that this new immigration law would invite racial profiling, and she also added that the state of Arizona might be going beyond its authorities. The former First Lady Hillary Clinton said that the law “does what a state doesn’t have the authority to do — try to impose their own immigration law.”

She was speaking her mind at the NBC’s ‘Meet the Press’ and she said that people would be needlessly questioned about their immigration status, just on the basis of a suspicion of any police officer.

Earlier Senator John McCain’s daughter Meghan had also spoken her mind against the Arizona’s new immigration law, which surprisingly is not in sync with her father’s views. Meghan McCain thinks of herself as a spokesperson for the young Republicans, and she spoke her mind in a column-piece that she wrote for ‘The Daily Beast’. In the article she said that, the new immigration law is “seriously flawed” and “essentially a license to pull someone over for being Hispanic.”

This new law has also resulted in a travel advisory from the Mexican government to all their citizens who are planning to go to Arizona.
