02-15-hillary_full_380 Riyadh, Feb 17 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton was addressing a meeting of students in a town hall in Saudi Arabia, where she was asked an eclectic mix of questions from the students. One student asked her what she would do if Sarah Palin became the President of US, “Would you consider moving to Canada or possibly even Russia in the event of this happening?” which had the audience in splits. Hillary Clinton also laughed loud at the prospect of Sarah Palin becoming the US President. Then she replied that “Well, the short answer is no. I will not be emigrating. I will be visiting as often as I can. It is part of the American political environment that people are always speculating on who will run for president.” Since she had also run for the US Presidency, so she has had first hand experience with the whole process, so she was able to elaborate more on the topic, “I’ve gone through that experience personally, so I’m very well acquainted with it.”

The ‘Going Rogue’ author has made no secret of the fact that she wants to run for the US Presidency. It may be recalled that in 2008, she made an unsuccessful bid to run for the Vice Presidency as the Republican candidate, but she was a novice on such a big stage, and it showed. When she lost, then she licked her wounds, and maintained a low profile. However now she has become savvier, and her public appearances have increased. And at each and every public meeting, she hints or talks about her Presidential run for 2012.
