hilary Washington DC, Nov 12 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The United States Secretary of State, Hilary Clinton has given the assurance that Israel’s security will be considered during the new peace plan. The issue about how to secure the Israelis has been a major stumbling block in reaching a deal in the volatile Middle East region.

The Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu met with the Secretary of State on Thursday and a joint statement was released after the meeting. The statement noted that Israel and the United States have accepted that it is important to continue with the direct negotiations with the Palestinians.
