December 28th, 2011 - 12:20 am ICT by IANS
Mumbai, Dec 27 (IANS) Anna Hazare is running a 102 degrees temperature but there is no need to admit him to hospital Tuesday night, a doctor attending on him said.
Aniruddha Dharmadhikari ruled out the possibility of admitting Hazare Tuesday night, saying the decision will be taken Wednesday morning.
However, he added that the 74-year-old activist’s health might deteriorate if he continued his fast.
A team of doctors from JJ Hospital is present at the MMRDA ground and is monitoring his health every hour.
Doctors kept a damp cloth on his forehead to bring the temperature down.
