Chandigarh, April 23 (IANS) The department of employment in Haryana has asked job seekers, who are already registered with the state’s employment exchanges, to register online again.

A department spokesman said: “It would be presumed that the applicants, who have not registered online, are no longer in need of employment assistance through the employment exchanges and their names would be permanently deleted from the exchange registers,” he said.

According to him, the department of employment has computerised all its activities from Sep 1, 2010.

“All the services of the department are available to the public on-line through its web portal www.hrex.org,” the spokesman added.

After the registration the applicants must send the attested copies of their testimonials along with the printout of online registration number to the concerned employment exchange, he added.

“The applicants who are already registered with the different employment exchanges would also have to register themselves online on this portal. In case of any difficulty or query, the local employment exchange could be contacted,” he said.
