Gov. Chris Christie Confronts Heckler at Cali GOP Rally
September 25th, 2010 - 12:36 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonSep 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Sticking to his “tough guy” image, New Jersey’s own Governor Chris Christie took on a political naysayer who was verbally attacking the California Republican candidate Meg Whitman.
As he was attempting to conduct a town hall meeting with Whitman, and angry person in the audience yelled out at her, criticizing her because she had refused to take questions. “What are you hiding?” the heckler yelled out, “You’re looking like Arnold in a dress” stated Ed Buck, wearing a blue shirt and jeans, standing in the front row of a 400 person audience as he made reference to the present Governor of California, actor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Whitman did not even have the chance to respond before Christie was right back in the man’s face.As his bodyguards calmly approached the them, Christie said to Buck, “Hey, listen. You know what. You want to yell, yell at me. It’s people who raise their voices and yell and scream like you who are dividing this country. We’re here to bring this country together.”
