Ghaziabad, Aug 25 (IANS) Private real estate developers in Ghaziabad have violated building laws at the cost of home buyers and the authorities are not acting against them, a municipal councillor said here Saturday.

Rajendra Tyagi, municipal councillor, claimed that some developers had illegally built three additional floors in their residential towers.

“Innocent buyers have bought flats with their hard earned money but if a survey is conducted they would be evicted due to the developer’s illegal activities on the top three floors,” said the councillor.

“I have sent a letter to Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav for necessary action as the local bodies were ignoring my complaints,” said the councillor.
