George Fernandes in hospital
January 9th, 2010 - 2:50 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, Jan 9 (IANS) Veteran political leader George Fernandes was admitted to a hospital here Saturday with neurological complications but a doctor said there was nothing to worry.
Fernandes was taken to the Max hospital. “It is nothing serious and he is expected to be discharged by the evening,” a spokesperson for the hospital told IANS.
The official said the former MP suffered from neurological problems.
The 80-year-old went to the hospital Friday for a check up. Fernandes contested the Lok Sabha election in 2009 as an independent candidate from Muzzaffarpur in Bihar.
