Gadkari escapes unhurt in stage collapse

Ghazipur (Uttar Pradesh), Feb 7 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Gadkari was involved in a freak accident here Tuesday, when the dais he was sitting on along with other party leaders caved in.
Gadkari was sitting on a sofa on the stage, when it suddenly collapsed in Mohamadabad assembly constituency of Ghazipur district during a public meeting.
However, he got up after the tumble and addressed the crowd.
