Gadkari appoints BJP’s state unit chiefs, deputy chiefs

New Delhi, March 21 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Nitin Gadkari Sunday nominated presidents and vice presidents for the party’s units in four states and a union territory.
Gadkari appointed K.P. Muthukoya, H.S. Syiemlieh and Tongor Tapak as presidents of the state BJP in the Lakshadweep, Meghalaya and Arunachal Pradesh respectively.
Manoj Kant Devrai and Lalhua, who goes by one name, were appointed vice-presidents for Tripura and Mizoram respectively.
