Former Vice President Dick Cheney Calls President Barack Obama “One Term President”

cJan 19, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Vice President of United States during the presidency of George W. Bush, Dick Cheney graced NBC’s “The Today Show” on Tuesday where he spoke about recent political scenario, President Barack Obama and also about his health condition. Dick Cheney, who is again back to the public eye after his heart surgery also said that someday he might need a heart transplant as well. However, the former Vice President said that he feels President Barack Obama is just ‘one term’ President as he would be losing on the next election because of his heath care programs and also some other Government programs.

On the other hand, though Dick Cheney did not name any successful replacement of President Barack Obama but called Sarah Palin as an “interesting” person. However, Dick Cheney criticized President Barack Obama’s administration and said that the President concentrated more on expanding the size of his Government and giving more power to the government over other private sectors. Moreover, he also criticized the health care program and said that people are “worried” about it.

Dick Cheney, who previously said that President Barack Obama is making the country less safe, said that now he feels that the President has changed some of his policies for better. The former vice president said that he feels President Barack Obama has learned from his experience as he had to take all the aftereffects of his previous decisions and he would not like to commit the same mistakes again. Regarding his health condition, Dick Cheney said that he has not yet taken the decision if he would want to go for a heart transplant.
