Former US President Jimmy Carter Taken to Hospital

Sep 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) The former President of the United States, Jimmy Carter was taken to the hospital this morning after he landed at Cleveland Hopkins Airport after an ambulance showed up with secret service and an Ohio State Patrol car behind it. The NewsChannel5 crew was told by hospital employees that they had to leave because “President Carter is coming.”
According to the officials at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport, EMS crews had been sent to meet incoming Delta airlines flight at 11:30 am. At that time, all they had been told that a passenger was ill. When they arrived on the scene, they realized that the ill passenger was none other than former President Carter. He was checked by EMS, and sent on to the hospital.
The 85 year old politician was due to arrive this afternoon for a book signing at Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Legacy Village, in order to sign his new book “White House Diary” which shows his view of life during his presidency. He was the 39th president, and a Democrat.
