New York, Jan 30 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former Senator John Edwards who admitted to fathering a love child ‘Quinn’ with his mistress Rielle Hunter, has reportedly spilt from his wife. John and Elizabeth Edwards have legally separated, according to reports. They were separated for already some time now, and Elizabeth took the drastic step when she met John Edwards’s mistress Rielle Hunter and John Edwards’ love child Quinn. She apparently had the papers ready for sometime, and after the meeting with Quinn, she filed for divorce, as she felt that she had enough.

It may be recalled that just a week ago, former US Senator John Edwards of North Carolina revealed that he fathered a daughter with his mistress Rielle Hunter. “I will do everything in my power to provide her with the love and support she deserves,” Edwards said in a statement. He also added that though earlier denied, that he was the baby’s father, he accepts it now and wants to apologize about it too. He said that he had disappointed and hurt a lot of people, and that he is truly sorry about it now. “It was wrong for me ever to deny she was my daughter and hopefully one day, when she understands, she will forgive me”, he added.
