Former President Jimmy Carter hospitalized

jimmy carter Sep 28 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Former President Jimmy Carter has been hospitalized. He was flying to Cleveland to be part of a book-signing event, but instead he had to be hospitalized when he landed at the Cleveland Hopkins Airport on Tuesday morning.

According to reports, Jimmy felt sick in the flight itself, and the pilot of the craft alerted the airport authorities prior to the landing. When the Delta flight landed on the airport at 11:30 am then the ambulance was already waiting at the airport. The medical personnel did a brief medical examination on his arrival and then recommended that he ought to be taken to a hospital.

According to reports, the former president was taken to the Metro Health Medical Center for medical aid. The ambulance took Jimmy Carter from the airport to the hospital, and on the way Secret Service personnel and Ohio State Highway Patrol personnel trailed it as well.

However it wasn’t such a pretty sight for all the patients who were present in the emergency room of the Metro Health Medical Center, as they were asked to vacant the premises, because 85-year-old Jimmy Carter was coming there.

According to his initial plans, the former president was expected to be a part of the book-signing event at the Joseph-Beth Booksellers in Legacy Village, so as to personally autograph his new book - “White House Diary for his fans and admirers.
