Washington DC, Nov 24 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Ex-CNN host Lou Dobbs is perhaps looking forward to a political career in the White House in 2012. The speculation is rampant and he is not denying it either. He said that the talk about his running for the Oval Office is not crazy. In saying so he added fuel to the rumors that he is indeed debating about a career in the highest office of the nation.
He clarified that people have been asking him to run for the Presidency and he is giving their views a lot more thought these days. However he is quiet a mystery man as he has quiet a number of aces up his sleeve. Because primarily his party choice is not yet known and on top of that he doesn’t rule out a Senate run either in 2012 from New Jersey.
People are speculating that he might run as an Independent, as his party choice is not yet known at all. After resigning from CNN last month where he hosted his own talk show, he now says that he feels liberated and is obviously going to be engaged in national debate in some capacity or the other.
The 64-year-old charmer said that he is open to politics now, and is actively listening to this issue now, even though people have been telling him about the political life for years now. “Well, I’ll tell you this much — it’s one of the discussions that we’re having,” he said. “For the first time, I’m actually listening to some people about politics.”
