ILLINOIS (BNO NEWS) — Evidence relating to the corruption case of former Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich was stolen from the office of his lawyer on early Friday.

Computers and audio files were stolen during the break-in, a spokesman for Blagojevich told BNO News. A police spokesman said eight computers were taken, and a safe, but provided no further information.

“Authorities including judge [were] notified immediately,” said Glenn Selig, a spokesman for Blagojevich.
