Elvira Launches Spoof Video of Christine O’Donnell “Not a Witch”
October 22nd, 2010 - 1:34 am ICT by Angela Kaye MasonOct 21 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Although it is considered “the norm” for politicians to undergo some ridicule, Christine O’Donnell seems to have opened the flood gates with her “witch” controversy, and campaign video in which she states “I’m not a witch, I’m you.”
‘Saturday Night Live’ has already had their much expected field day with the republican candidate, as has Barbara Walters, and now, the ridicule comes from a somewhat unlikely source, as the fifty-nine year old ‘Elvira’, who became famous by hosting bad horror flicks on the 80’s with a mane of fake black hair and a push-up bra.
But the ad was not meant as simple a dig at Ms O’Donnell. Elvira is advertising her newest horror flick which is now showing on HuLu, entitled “Werewolf of Washington”. See the two videos embedded below for a comparison between the two ads.
