Tuesday the 8th of November is Election Day 2011. Several states and cities have planned various elections on the day. The polls will be opened in the morning for the voters to cast their votes.
GOP hopeful Herman Cain was given rude shock on the day with another woman stepping forward to accuse him of sexual harassment. The former National Restaurant Association boss has been accused by three women of sexual harrasment and it has the real potential to throw his presidential dreams off the bridge. He has denied all the charges against him saying they are politically motivated.
Several issues are on the ballot papers this Election Day. One of the hottest contested issues is the controversial collective-bargaining restriction in Ohio. Votors in the state will decide if the law should stand or be reversed. A poll by Quinnipiac University says voters in the state will vote 52-37% to overturn the law.
Democrats and labor unions in Ohio are behind the drive to reverse the measure which was introduced by Republican Gov. John Kasich.
