Egypt’s interior ministry’s building on fire
March 22nd, 2011 - 11:40 pm ICT by IANSCairo, March 22 (IANS) A building of Egypt’s interior ministry in downtown Cairo was up in flames, after thousands of police personnel protested in front of the building Tuesday, Xinhua reported.
The policemen were demanding higher wages and improved welfare schemes.
Firefighters were attempting to douse the blaze.
