Nov.4, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Susan Hutchison has been defeated by her opponent Dow Constantine in Kings County. Dow Constantine has been happy as the the Kings County election results has ultimately turned in his favor. He will now enter the office of the King County executive. Both the candidates had made several campaigns so that they could win the race. Constantine in his campaigns had pointed Hutchison as a right-winger who does not have much experience in this field. He also stated that she would not be able to manage the county politics. Susan Hutchison used to work as an anchor for television news before she thought of joining main stream politics.

After winning the Kings County executive election, Constantine while addressing his voters said, “They were looking for change consistent with King County.” He meant that people voted him not only to bring a change but also to elect someone who would be consistent. It has been stated by the sources that Constantine had received around 57 percent of the votes while his opponent had received 43 percent of the total votes.

As the economic condition of the country has been going through a crisis, the candidates had focused on the budget related issues before the election. Projection shows that this county would have to deal with one hundred and ten million dollars shortfall in the next two years. So, the candidates have raised this issue in the campaign. Though budget was the subject of their campaigns, they spent major part of the budget raising arguments that who would clear up the problems in a better manner.
