DMK’s Dayanidhi Maran to vote for UPAJuly 20th, 2008 - 1:42 pm ICT by IANS
Chennai, July 20 (IANS) Reversing his decision to abstain during Tuesday’s trust vote in parliament, Dayanidhi Maran of the DMK Sunday said he would follow the party diktat and vote for the Congress-led United Progressive Alliance (UPA) government. The former union minister of communications and IT had earlier given some anxious moments to his party by refusing to toe the party line on voting for Prime Minister Manmohan Singh’s government.
The DMK has 15 members in the Lok Sabha.
