Manmohan Singh New Delhi, March 29 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Tuesday said her government has set up a three-member committee to look into the details of the Shunglu Committee report and respond to the allegations of delays and irregularities in Commonwealth Games (CWG) projects.

“A three-member committee has been constituted. We will look into the details of the report and respond on the allegations made in the (Shunglu Committee) report,” she told reporters here.

Dikshit also informed the media persons that the committee’s report will be put on internet within a couple of days.

“We have written about the anomalies and the contradiction in the (Shunglu Commitee) report and we want to reply to certain things said in the report. We will put our reply on the website within two days,” she said.

According to informed sources, Dikshit is said to have also discussed the panel’s report with Prime Minister Manmohan Singh when she met him to present a copy of the state’s budget Monday evening.

Shunglu, a former comptroller and auditor general (CAG), was appointed by the prime minister to head the probe into charges of corruption in the Commonwealth Games held last October.

The committee has submitted two reports, one on the Games Village and the other on the city’s infrastructure development for the event. The panel primarily blamed the Delhi chief minister and Lieutenant Governor Tejendra Khanna.

“The Delhi government is formulating a detailed, paragraph-wise reply for every allegation levelled in the report,” a Delhi government official said.
