New Delhi, July 29 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Friday raised eyebrows when she “thanked” the late Rajiv Gandhi for attending the opening of a Guru Tegh Bahadur memorial - when she meant to refer to Congress MP Rahul Gandhi.
“We are thankful to Rajiv Gandhi who has come here for the inauguration,” Dikshit said at the event on the capital’s outskirts.
The remark startled many in the audience but Dikshit, not realizing her slip, kept speaking.
