Dikshit congratulates Bindra, Narang

New Delhi, Oct 5 (IANS) Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit Tuesday congratulated shooters Abhinav Bindra and Gagan Narang for winning India’s first gold in the 19th Commonwealth Games.
The chief minister expressed confidence that Indian shooters will win more medals for the country.
Beijing Olympics gold medallist Bindra and world number 3 Narang won the men’s 10-metre air rifle pairs event.
The pair shot a combined total of 1,193, breaking their own Games record (1,189) set four years ago in Melbourne.
