Delhi has new labour comissioner
July 11th, 2011 - 9:20 pm ICT by IANSNew Delhi, July 11 (IANS) Ramesh Tiwari is Delhi’s new labour commissioner. He replaced C.P. Tripathi on Monday.
Delhi Labour Minister Ramakant Goswami discussed matters related to child labour, placement agencies, construction workers and other matters, including labour welfare schemes, with Tiwari.
Goswami also directed him to clear the pending work in the department.
Tiwari, who was previously with the central government, has also served the Delhi government as an additional secretary in the urban development department.
