CPI-M moves privilege motion against Mamata in Rajya Sabha

New Delhi, March 15 (IANS) The Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) Tuesday said it has moved a privilege motion in the Rajya Sabha against Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee for presenting “fraudulent figures” to show profits for the Railways.
CPI-M Rajya Sabha member P. Rajeeve told reporters that the party has moved a privilege motion against the railway minister for giving “fraudulent figures” in the presentation of the railway budget.
Rajeeve alleged that in her response to the debate on the railway budget, Banerjee has manipulated facts and figures to show profits in the railways.
