Congress may hush up Koda scam like Bofors scam: Rajnath Singh

Ranchi, Nov 21 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) president Rajnath Singh Saturday charged that the Congress may hush up the Madhu Koda scam like the Bofors kickback case.
“Congress can cross all limits to patronise corruption. Congress can hush up the Madhu Koda scam case like Bofors kickback case. In Madhu Koda case several Congress leaders could land in trouble and the case could be hushed up,” alleged the BJP president while talking to reporters here Saturday evening.
He said: “There should be a probe on how many leaders visited Switzerland during the Madhu Koda regime. Madhu Koda is not the only person in the Rs.4,000-crore scam. There are several other leaders who could land in trouble.
“When Quattrochhi who lives in Italy could be let off in Bofors kickback scam then why can’t the Koda scam be hushed up? But we will raise the Koda issue in parliament.”
When asked about the Central Bureau of Investigation probe into assets of all Jharkhand chief ministers since 2001, Rajnath Singh said: “There is a public interest litigation pending in court and we have faith in judiciary.”
“If the BJP is voted to power then we will review the work of the government every year,” he promised.
