Bharatiya Janata Party New Delhi, Dec 3 (IANS) Expressing its full support to the demand for a separate Telangana state, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Thursday accused the Congress party of dilly-dallying on the issue despite wide political acceptance on the demand.
BJP spokesman Prakash Javadekar said people, farmers, traders and employees are agitating for Telangana.

“The Congress has always betrayed the cause of Telangana. It has only provided lip-sympathy,” he said.

Javadekar said that the Congress had formed a party committee headed by Pranab Mukherjee “to buy time on the issue”.

“Only the Congress is dilly-dallying. There is an upsurge in the demand for a separate state. If the government brings a bill, we will support it,” he said.
