Communists have no moral right to speak against Maoists: BJP
February 1st, 2011 - 10:52 pm ICT by IANS
Kolkata, Feb 1 (IANS) Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national spokesperson Shahnawaz Hussain Tuesday said West Bengal’s ruling communists have no moral right to speak against the violence by Maoists.”Communists have no moral right to speak against the Maoists. When Maoists were being tackled in Chhattisgarh, they used to condemn us everyday. Now when they are facing the wrath, they are speaking against them,” Hussain told reporters.
Hussain also criticised the Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M)-led Left Front government in West Bengal for “doing nothing for the development of the Muslims in the state”.
“They have done nothing for the development of Muslims in the state except lip service. Now when they have faced drubbing in elections, they are doings reservation and many other things to please the minority community,” Hussain said.
