Colombian mayor escapes grenade attack

Bogota, May 22 (IANS/EFE) A grenade was hurled at the house of a mayor in northwestern Colombia, but no one was hurt in the attack, police said.
The incident took place Friday in Tierralta town. The grenade landed on the balcony of the house causing some damage.

The mayor said he had received threats from the militants. Police said they have taken two suspects into custody.
