C.M. Jatua slightly injured in collision
November 28th, 2010 - 10:18 pm ICT by IANSKolkata, Nov 28 (IANS) Minister of State for Information and Broadcasting C.M. Jatua sustained minor injuries when his car was hit by a mini-truck in West Bengal’s South 24 Parganas district Sunday, police said.
South 24 Parganas’ Additional Superintendent of Police Murli Dhar told IANS that two people accompanying the minister in his car also sustained minor injuries when the vehicle was hit from behind by the mini-truck at Amtala area of the district.
“The three were slightly injured due to the impact. However, Jatua later left for Delhi to attend a scheduled programme,” he said.
Jatua was returning from Kakdweep in the district after attending a programme of his Trinamool Congress.
