Washington, Jan 20, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Though the gay marriage proposition in California has been turned down by the people, it appears that many well-known personalities respect the emotions and feelings of gay people and want to give them the freedom to lead their life in the way they want. As per the reports, Cindy McCain, wife of Senator John McCain has recently posed for the NOH8 to support same sex marriage in California.
The family of Republican Senator John McCain is among the well-known families of the United States. Cindy McCain’s decision to support gay marriage rights publicly has boosted the spirit of the NOH8 organizers. The photograph of Cindy McCain, which appears on the website NOH8 shows that she has written NOH8 on her cheek and used a duct tape of silver color across her mouth. Not only Cindy McCain but also her daughter, Meghan McCain has supported the cause with her mother. Meghan McCain’s support to gay marriage is not new but Cindy McCain’s decision to publicly back their cause has surprised them and lifted their confidence level. As per the reports, she stated that she is proud of her mother after this work.
Though Cindy McCain and Meghan McCain has expressed their opinion in support of gay marriage, Senator John McCain is firm on his stand. He still does not support gay marriage and sources reported, “Sen. McCain believes the sanctity of marriage is only defined as between one man and one woman.” Though the Republican Senator does not support gay marriage rights, he values the opinions of her family member and have never forced them to change their views.
