Christine O’Donnell vows to not to talk to the national media

Christine O’Donnell Sep 23 (THAINDIAN NEWS) Christine O’Donnell, Republican Senate nominee for Delaware says she will concentrate on the local media in her bid to win more votes. Delaware announced this on Tuesday on Fox News.

O’Donnell said she will put interview with national media on hold and concentrate on the local media, claiming that that will get her the votes she needs in her bid to win the seat.

The Tea-Party backed candidate admits that the current media attention that she has as a result of her surprise win of the Republican primary in Delaware is rather distracting her campaign. She currently trail the Democratic candidate, Chris Coons in latest opinion polls.

Since her election, she has been scrutinized by her opponents and the media about some past statements she made as well as her personal finances. O’Donnell who was recently endorsed by former Alaskan Governor, Sarah Palin says she was warned by Palin that the national media was looking for her destruction.

O’Donnell says she will concentrate on local forums and church picnics which has the potential to fetch her more votes.

She has already canceled scheduled appearances on CBS News‘ “Face the Nation” and Fox’s “Fox News Sunday”.
