Sep 23, (THAINDIAN NEWS) Using one media source Christine O’Donnell on Tuesday night shunned all others for the rest of the few months before the gubernatorial election. Tea Party backed Christine O’Donnell who recently became the Delaware Republican nominee for the fall gubernatorial election, announced that she will sit for no more national media interviews as that would in no way help her to gain votes in the fall election. The Delaware Republican Senate nominee has in the recent past faced many criticisms from the media sources and also been under extreme media scrutiny.
During what seems apparently to be her last media interview before the fall election, Christine O’Donnell asserted in front of Sean Hannity that she will no more sit for any national media interview as her focus lies on Delaware. She mentioned that she would rather like to concentrate on local media for the time being. Christine O’Donnell game vent to her frustration with the whole national media by saying that while she had let the local media know about her priority they fail to reach her due to her prior engagement with the national media sources. Referring to local media, the Republican nominee said, “phones are ringing off the hook that they can’t get to me”. She held that the national media is actually acting as a hindrance in the path of her senate campaign.
Christine O’Donnell who got a surprise victory at Delaware Republican primary, has been under media scanner for her past statements and also for her questionable personal finances. Pulling the name of former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, who had warned Christine O’Donnell about the national media reportedly by saying that it might be “seeking your destruction”, the nominee said that perhaps she was right in saying that.
